Financial Analyst (New York Office)
Department Function:
The Acquisitions Group is a growing and dynamic team whose role within the organization is to develop, screen, review and analyze investment opportunities for potential investment by one of the company's managed funds. The group is directly responsible for processing deal flow, organizing research and formulating an investment thesis for final approval by the company's Investment Committee.
Position Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide analytical support to senior members of the group in assisting the decision making process that ultimately drives our continued performance.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Interface regularly with senior members of the group to process deal inflow
- Prepare and/ or compile financial and operating information on the company / portfolio under investigation; utilize quantitative and qualitative information obtained to determine financial, competitive advantages and disadvantages
- Manage a number of portfolio accounts
- Track economic, market and industry data of importance
- Proactively monitor industry/ sector developments
- Implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and productivity of performing analysis, accessing information and communicating ideas/ results
Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in Finance (preferred) or related field
- Analytical in nature
- Familiar with Windows, specifically Excel tools/formulas/macros to perform analysis
- Ability to work in a group environment or independently to drive results
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented
Operations Associate (New York Office)
Description:
This individual will be called upon to perform projects and tasks in the area of monitoring and auditing company expenses. In addition, the candidate will be called upon to coordinate operations between company departments. The successful candidate will be motivated and a proactive team player with a determination to learn and excel. Marketing/Sales Associate (New York Office)
Description:
ICON Capital Corp. is currently seeking a marketing/sales professional to source, research, and call on potential customers with the objective of evaluating and qualifying transactions between $5MM to $25MM. This will include cultivating and maintaining strong relationships to facilitate transactions. Primary functions include: financial modeling and analyzing financial statements, prospecting via telephone, database management and participating in the development and production of related marketing materials. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
